Well just wanted to say I'm still alive! LOL! I can't believe our Summer is over and now it is Fall! We had a wonderful Summer beginning with Youth Camp and ending with a weekend at Kings Island with the girls! There was a lot in between but I don't feel like going into detail right now..maybe another day. haha! If I would stay caught up this wouldn't happen... Well thats it for now..more later hopefully.

Not alot really going on..of course we had the most wonderful camp you could have imagine!! It was very AWESOME!! Here is a picture....

We all had a wonderful time...the services were outstanding!! I haven't been in services like that in a long time if ever!!! They were powerful!! Bro. Anthony Dyer was our evangelist and he truly let the Lord use him!!

Other than that it has been slow since camp. I have been staying pretty busy with the kids..softball games, library, slip-n-slide, and other fun things!! I love summertime because me and the kids stay up late, sleep late, and really just have a blast!! Yes, I do have to work laundry and house cleaning in there somewhere but it's all good!! LOL!

Well that is about it for now..I'll post more later...Our Regional Convention is this coming weekend..excited about that!!

Good News About my MOM

Today we went back to the doctor...it was the first doctor visit since the big ordeal last month. They said they would start her on a new chemo..this chemo they said would not be as affective as the prior chemo she was on. So that being said there is a lesser percent that this chemo will be effective. BUT...my God is sooooo good!! There is this blood test that they do that tells them the amount of tumors you have in your body..it is said to be a tumor marker...it is called a C125. They do this blood test everytime she goes and right after her surgery, back in April her tumor marker was 147. That is high..but let me say that when we first found out that she had Ovarian cancer it was up int the thousands!! So that was still low compared to were it once was. Last month when we went it had dropped from 147 to 57...nice drop..well they were unable to give her chemo last month due to her bad reaction..guess what it was this month without chemo???? a 19...God is so awesome!! anything below 35 is considered normal range...it is actually lower now than it was back in Januray at a 26. She has been as low as a 8 before when God healed her the first time...I feel like God is doing his mighty work for her again!! Praise the Lord!! I just wanted to share this with everyone...thanks for all who have been praying!! I know someone or several have reached the throne of God for us!! Just continue to keep her in your prayers because she is going to continue on with this chemo and the doctors are hoping it will work but God is the one working!!! I just wanted to share this wonderful testimony..and I pray I have more to come concerning mom!! Love each of you!!

Yesterday was one of the longest days of my life!!!

Just like my title says..Yesterday was one of the longest days of my life!! It started out rainy and dreary...I took my mom to have chemo. Mom turned into a human pin cushion. It took 3 nurses and 7 sticks before they could get the IV for the chemo to go in her. At that point I was starting to feel a little skeptical about the whole thing..I was thinking about just telling them I'm taking her home..we'll come back another day..but I didn't..wish I would have. As the day went on she was doing okay..she ate some lunch I had brought her and was doing okay. They then started the second half of her chemo treatment....everything went down hill from there...The Nurse warned us if she started feeling the least bit funny to get her immediately!! We didn't really think much of it because she had had this particular type of chemo several times before. But within about a minute of it going into her system I saw a horrible look on my mothers face!! I asked her if she was okay and all she could get out was "I think I'm going to puke!" I went for the nurse...they pulled her from the chemo and immediately started giving her medication..she started seizing, the nurses called for the Doctor and also started calling a code...I stood there praying out loud for my mom to be okay...It was horrible!! I was so scared!! The Doctor got there and Nurse was screaming out her to wake up, you can't do this!!! I thought we'd lost her!! I really did!! But before they got the code cart to her she began to wake up ON HER OWN!! Thank you Jesus!! My God is REAL!! They watched her for a while and then said she was able to go home..and that they would never give her that kind of chemo again..They said that sometimes people that have had that many cycles of the same chemo can not tolerate it anymore after a certain point...people react to it in several different ways...The nurses were glad I was there to come and get them...I have heard of people having a reaction to chemo and dying...so you can see why I was so tore up!! I just am saying all of this to Praise MY LORD!! I know my mom is sick..but I also know that MY GOD HEALS!! He healed her once before and I know he's working on her again!! Please continue to pray for my mom..Anyone that knows her knows how precious of a person she is to everyone!! She's a giver and would give the shoes off her feet to you!! We go next month to see the doctor and find out what they are going to do next....they said they would probably start her on a different kind of chemo...just pray for her...I never want to go through that again with her...It was scary.. I've been up to check on her this morning and she is looking very good and resting!! Pray for her, Her name is Joy Wilcox..Please call her name out in your prayers!! Thanks so much!!

Another day

Today is Wednesday, hump day, middle of the week......it's rainy outside so we are staying in today. Last night we took Taylor to Build A Bear and Toys R Us for her Birthday. She had a blast and got a adorable unicorn at Build A Bear which she named Lucy. She's a Ballerina, Lucy that is...Taylor is a Princess..so she thinks..LOL!! She then bought a bunk bed for her babies with her B-day money. She is such a girly girl...Haley never did really get into the baby dolls and Barbies the way Taylor has. Taylor is a lot like me in so many ways. I was always playing with dolls and barbies and dress up..all that girly kind of stuff.

Well tonight is church...it's an extra Wed...for us..We are having a BTI service tonight and also business meeting. It's a little past due...but not by much...We've been traveling so much this past month going to our district churches that we've had a hard time fitting it in..so tonights the night. yippee.. LOL!!

This weekend is Youth Convention at Elizabethtown, KY... Very excited!! I get to see some friends out of our region that are going to be visiting that I haven't seen in awhile...really excited about that..they had better not change their mind...(I doubt they will..LOL)

Well guess I'll end this for now...I'm just writing about nothing..just felt like posting...I think I'll go put the gals down for their nap now...write more later.

I just wanted to wish my Beautiful Daughter, Taylor Nicole a very Happy 4th Birthday!! I can't believe she is actually 4 now!! WOW..where has the time went!! She is sooo funny and keeps us laughing everyday!! She is so quick to..I mean you can say something and she has a reply almost as fast as the comment leaves my mouth. Very witty! She really thinks about things too...nothing ever gets by her. She is so comical!! What a wonderful daughter...I'm so glad I have her in my life because even when things look rough she has away of cheering me up and making me laugh!! I love you Taylor!!!

Just thought I'd write a short something for we leave for church. It's been a quite day over all. I've been a little stressed but I need to just put it in God's hands.

It's been a pretty day outside today...a little cool still but the sun makes it seem so much nicer. It is suppose to be in the eighties on Saturday..I'm so glad too because that is Taylor's birthday party and I wanted to have it outside..so it looks like I will get to do that. I can't believe that little stinker is going to be 4 years old. She's truly a gift to us. Keeps us laughing..

Well I guess I'd better run...it's church time!!!

Update on Mom

Just wanted to thank everyone who said a prayer for mom. They ran several tests and all the tests that had come back did not show any obstructions or anything to really worry about. So they sent her home with a very mild diet. I know God touched her body because she was really sick before she went. So thank you friends for praying and especially I thank the Lord for his touch!!

I do want to let everyone know that when she had her surgery they did find some nodules on the liner of her abdomen. Therefore she will begin chemo once again on May 4th. She's very down about that, as we all are. So please do not stop praying for her. God did a miracle on her once before and I know he can do it again!!!

I just wanted to get on here and ask anyone who reads this to please pray for my mom!! She had surgery on April 9th..and the last few days shes been throwing up and can't keep much down. My dad is taking her to the ER right now..so Please say a prayer for her..

Thanks to all my friends who have prayed for her...please continue..I know that GOD is the only one who can make things better!!

It's been awhile since I blogged. There has not been a lot to blog about here. Staying busy but just with everyday stuff. I do have a very important prayer request though..And I ask that anyone who reads this would say a prayer for my mother, Joy Wilcox. She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer a year and a half ago. She went through a series of chemo and was miraculously healed. I mean if you could have seen her when she was diagnosed and then after her healing you would know it was truly the hand of God. She had it all through her body. Well the other day we went back to the doctor and they said the catscan says she has a cyst that has reoccurred. That scared us of course. They said probably the best thing for her would be surgery to remove it and then another round of chemo. My mom is very scared of surgery but I think that is what she is opting to do. We will meet with the doctor again on Monday..April 6th. Please say a prayer for her and for the family...God preformed a miracle in her once and I know he can do it again. She's a wonderful lady that I know the Lord has used during all of this....I don't feel like he's done with her yet.

On other news ..not a lot going on.. Donald had his Carpel Tunnel Release surgery on Monday. He's doing pretty good....he doesn't like it that he can't drive anywhere..but they said no for two weeks...I'm not used to him being home all the time..so thats been a adjustment...but he is doing well.

Well I think I'll go for now...Spring Break is next week..and we were going to go camping but now I don't think we are going to get to because of his surgery. Well bye for now..

Prayer Request

Please remember my mom in your prayers. She's not been feeling the best. I know God healed her of her cancer...but sometimes I want to doubt. Please say a prayers for me too that my faith not be so weak. We take her on Monday for a Catscan..(it's a routine one, every 6 months) I just want nothing to be found. She has been weak at her stomach..not feeling to good at all. So please remember her in your prayers...Thanks.

It started off with a killer migraine!! I laid down for a little while and the headache finally went away but now I'm left weak from the migraine. We are going to a local church in Winchester, not The Church of God, that Donald was asked to come and preach at tonight so I hope that some of my strength comes back before tonight...I asked my mom if the girls could stay with her tonight..I just don't think I have the strength to make them behave in church...They are usually very good..well Haley is...LOL..Taylor is good to a point..but she has her moments..but she's only three..I think she does good for a three year old..but tonight I just don't think I'm up to it...

Plus, I have a unspoken prayer request...I just don't feel at liberty to share on here...so if you would just say a little prayer for me...I need it today!! Thanks..love you guys!!

3. I love spending time with just me, my husband, and my girls.

4. 4th of July is my favorite holiday!! We always have a BIG family get together and you don't have to worry about presents...It's so much fun!!

9. I love to exercise, but not at home...I like the gym atmosphere.... or a track...

Well it is now Wednesday...not much going on at all..Monday night I took Haley to Destination Imagination (school thing) and me and my Aunt went shopping while we waited on her and Chelsea. Last night I took Haley and my niece, Lauren, out to CiCi's Pizza. That was good. Then we went to our very dead mall and went in the Dollar Tree. They had five dollars a piece to spend..so they spent it...haha..on junk, pretty much..LOL!!

Tonight is Wednesday so I will be going to church...I miss my hubby not being home..but we're surviving..He'll be back Friday sometime. Maybe this will be the last time for him to have to leave for awhile.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hey just thought I'd type a little ...and wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!! We are going to Haley's Basketball game today and then afterwards we are going to the mall...I think we are going to Build a Bear and then do some shopping...Haley got all kinds of money for her Birthday..that she's wanting to spend..REAL BAD!! LOL!!

Last night my Hubby brought me home a dozen Red Roses and a box of chocolates...(little does he know that the box of chocolates would have been just fine..but the roses were sweet too...) He's such a sweetheart and then we went out to eat at a Mexican Restaurant with a gift certificate that we had gotten back at Christmas Time from my uncle. I told him since I am not working and the funds are a little low right now not to worry about getting me anything for V-day..but wouldn't you know it he did. He had gotten a tip at work from someone today and he used it on me..how sweet. I love him!! He told me that 15 years we have been dating/married and he had never forgotten to give me Roses!!

Anyways...enough sappy talk for now...I guess I better get myself ready so we can get going...Hope everyone has a special Valentine's Day!!!

It's Friday

Yes, it's finally Friday...It's been a LLLLOOONNNGGGG week!! A busy one too..but I am not looking forward to next week because Donald will be out of town again for class! It is always so hard when he's not at home. Even though it feels like when he is here I still carry the brunt of the load as far as children and housework go and organizing and everything like that....it gets a lot harder when he's gone. Atleast he does pitch in and help, unlike some husbands that I've heard about. I'm thankful for my sweet, wonderful Husband and besides it being harder when he is not here, I miss him terribly when he's not around!!!

Okay enough rambling...me and the girls are going to have a Valentine Party when they get up from their nap in a little while...I don't have the girls I babysit on Saturday, so we're doing it today...It'll be fun!!

Our Craft..

Since I've been at home and not working I have been trying to go through the alphabet each day and go over the letters with Taylor and the other little girls that I babysit. Yesterday was the letter T...and for our craft we made a Turtle. I thought it turned out so cute I wanted to share it with you..This is a picture of Taylor's Turtle... Today we did U...I cut out a U out of construction paper and turned it upside down to make a umbrella. I enjoy doing these little crafts with them each day...the neat thing about it is..that tomorrow is V and it is the day before Valentine's day....how cool..so we are having a Valentine's party tomorrow...how fun!!

My Beautiful 9 year old young lady!!

Just wanted to wish my beautiful daughter, Haley a very Happy Birthday!! She turned 9 today!! Wow!! Every year I am just amazed that another year has past again...I remember exactly what I was doing this day 9 years ago...She has turned into such a sweet, caring, and compassionate little lady. I had brought the groceries in yesterday and I picked up a little something for Taylor to give her big sis and Haley saw it and said something..and I said you little peeker to her..later that night she said.."mom I feel guilty about seeing my gift, I'm sorry" I told her it wasn't her fault...it was mine for not putting it away fast enough...she's just so thoughtful in so many ways!! she makes me so proud to be her mother!! I love her so very much!! She sure changed my life 9 years ago..but ALL of it for the good..I don't know what I would ever do without her!! She's a precious treasure!!

WOW!! I don't even know where to begin...Last week was wild!!! As many may have heard a Winter ICE storm hit Kentucky!! It was BAD!! I think twenty four people the last time I heard have been killed in this ICE storm!! We did not have electric for 5 days during this storm. The ice was 3 or 4 inches thick. Many around us still does not have electric back on. Ice is so much worse than snow!!!

We did pretty good the first day or so..but boredom kicked in and we began getting very irritable!! haha... We had to pull our mattresses in the living room and close off the rest of the house to keep it warm enough for us to stay in our house. Fortunately we have a Gas Heater..(many were not as fortunate) so we were able to keep warm from that..we also have a Gas stove to cook with..so we were able to still do most of our cooking at the house. Needless to say we ate ALOT of soup!! LOL!!! We went to bed at like 8:30 the first night..out of not knowing what to do with ourself because the sun had went down and all we had was candle light...We played charades and other crazy games for awhile..My oldest daughter even said.."my parents are better than cable!" haha...I guess we can act really crazy if we need to to entertain.

But we eventually became bored of that too...so my WONDERFUL Father...found a place that was getting a new shipment in of generators...because up until this point you could find them for miles around..(believe me we know..we did our homework and could not find one ANYWHERE...several counties away) Anyways he went and got one and let us hook up to it..that provided us with a lamp, and the TV...Perfect..now I could watch TV or READ...two of my most favorite things to do....

Anyways when our electric did come back on we yelled and hollered..it was a very rejoicing event!! I guess the thing I hated the most was that we couldn't take a hot shower...that really means a lot...I heated water so we could bathe and Donald's sister was kind to let us come to her house to take a shower...but it was rough...

It is Thursday of the next week now..we did get a little more snow after all of that..but that wasn't too bad...Now I think ....I don't know if I should say it or not...but.... I think....Things.... are back to normal... (looks around and puts hands over head..) LOL...just kidding...I hope everyone else is having or had a better week.

Okay..I have the blah's today. I am such a boring person lately....I don't really do much at all but clean, clean, clean and do laundry. That seems all I do. I think the cold weather and me being inside so much has started to do a number on me....I wish it would warm up outside..I hate being cooped up inside all the time... And to me unless it is just necessary it isn't worth me bundling the kids up and myself just to go do something pointless. Maybe I need to anyways. Maybe it would get me out of this complacency.

Well next month we'll have District Convention..so maybe I"ll get to see some people I haven't seen in awhile..that will be nice.

Donald made it to Ohio safely. He seems to be enjoying himself..I'm glad..sometimes a person just needs to get away for a few days..makes you appreciate things better. I'm not talking about him per say..I mean everybody needs to do that sometimes...including me...LOL!!!

Kids are back in school!!

Well Haley finally went back to school today. She wasn't all that excited about it..LOL!! I've been watching the Inauguration today. Not all that thrilled but we shall see what the future holds. Even though Barak is definitely not my pick for Presidency, I still enjoy watching the way our country puts a new president in as the old one leaves. All the traditions and such..very interesting to me...and to me very touching. Anyways enough about that..I have just decided to pray for our country and the Lord's will and TRY not to grumble to much..LOL!!

Donald leaves today for Ohio. He has some training he has to go there for his job. He will be gone until Friday...I hate it when he leaves...He's such a big help with the kids that it makes it very hard when he's not here, plus I just like it when we are together verses apart. He's my sweetheart.

Well for some reason I'm feeling all sappy today...so I think I'll end this blog for now..before I say something REALLY sappy...haha...

It finally snowed!!

Yes, it finally snowed..I mean it isn't really enough to go sledding in or make a snowman but it atleast covered the ground and made it look so pretty!! So I'm happy! Now I'm ready for spring...I want to skip feb. and part of march (maybe all) and go directly to spring time!!!

Yesterday was a very LAZY day! We did nothing..just hung out at the house. Donald's mother came by and said hi and then later that evening Donald's sister came by and took Haley to her house to spend the night. She has a step daughter the same age as Haley...so they have fun hanging out. So Taylor, Donald, and I made peanut butter cookies..( I know I shouldn't be using peanut butter..but it was a mix..does that count???)So far we haven't got sick. That was about it for our Sunday...

Well that's about it for today to. Taylor just walked up to my moms for a little while and Haley is still over at her Aunt Janna's....so I need to get some house work done and some laundry done...Donald leaves on a trip tomorrow for his job. So I better have him some clothes ready to pack...talk to you guys later!!

Well...It's Sunday and the weather is to bad to have service this morning...seems kinda weird not to be in church...I'm not sure if it will be okay by tonight to have church or not..we're just trying to play it by ear.

Yesterday we went to Haley Basketball game..they did ALOT better this time but still lost, but only by 3 points this time..They are definitely getting better!! Maybe next week will be our week...we'll see. (smile)

After that we went out to eat at Sonny's BBQ...I love that place...GOOD FOOD!! Then we went out in the boone docks to look at this house for sale..We didn't realize it was soooo FAR out in the middle of nowhere..but it was...Nice house, but I don't want to live that far out. I like be able to get to the grocery store and other stores pretty quick. We are looking to buy something..but just not sure when. We actually thought we'd be able to build out here on the family farm were we live but unfortately they are stipulations that will not allow us to according to our wonderful county goverment...we got that discouraging news on Friday...We were a little disappointed..but oh well..we'll get over it..

After that I took the girls to my mom and dads house and let them stay there while me and Donald went to the hospital to visit my friends grandfather. He had open heart on Wed. I didn't get in to see him because he is still in intensive care unit but the family said he was doing good for the surgery he just had.

After that we went and looked for some more houses..I just can't seem to find one I REALLY like...I don't know..maybe something will pop up, who knows?!?!?!

Came home and just relaxed after that..very enjoyable day.

Well..it's Thursday and Haley didn't have school today..Not because of the snow..because we didn't get any...(boohoo) But it is sooo cold out there that they called school off. It is suppose to be way colder tonight. And still know prospect of snow!! Whats up with that?!?!?!

So we are going to try and entertain ourselves inside today...Haley has a gingerbread house that she has been wanting to put together..so maybe we'll do that today. That would make her happy. We rented a Little Mermaid movie for Taylor last night at the wonderful REDBOX..I love that thing. I'm not sure how widespread they are but we have this little machine in front of our Mcdonald's where we live and it allows you to rent movies from it..ONLY ONE DOLLAR!! WOOHOO!! I LOVE IT!! and then you can return it back to any REDBOX you happen to be around. Really neat creation!! So they are watching that right now.

Well it's really been pretty boring lately..so I guess I'll end this post for now..Hope everyone is staying warm.

I hate dieting...but I have to!! I've gained so much weight since I've been not working and through the Christmas season. I can feel it in my clothes..which I don't like more than dieting!! Last year..I lost 30 pounds on weight watchers..I got down to 125 pounds..I loved it!! Why, why, did I gain it back???? I just can't control my sweet tooth. So right now as I'm setting here I am eating chunks of pineapple..which I like but a snickers would be much better. Oh well..we'll see what happens..Donald is staring Weight Watchers back up so Maybe I'll be able to lose with him. We shall see.

It's been a some what calm day...the little girl that I babysit has fell twice and got her hand stuck in the closet door once, but other than that I think we are doing okay. She bloodied her lip the first time she fail...I hate it when a kid I'm watching does that..but she's 2, they fall alot...or atleast mine always has.

Well I think that is about it for now..I need to figure out a exercise to do..I enjoy walking but it is just way too cold outside...so I've got think of something in doors..I wish I had that wiifit but I don't ..so I must get creative...

I'm just sitting here looking out the window watching the wind blow!! It is so cold outside and it is going to get even colder! I know some of you have it much colder than we have it here but I just really hate cold weather. And we aren't even' getting snow. We haven't got one significant snow yet this year. At least let us get one good snow fall if it is going to be cold. haha...OKay..enough complaining.

Everything around here has been pretty good. Haley had her first ballgame on Saturday. Unfortunately they lost, but it was still a fun game to watch and Haley had a blast playing!! I'm glad Haley is able to be a part of it. She is part of an Upwards team. It is really neat because it has a religious background. A church actually sponsors it. And they teach them bible verses, they have prayer before the games, and devotions. A lot of communities have Upwards..I highly recommend them if you are into or wanting to find a sport for your child to play..They have soccor and I think other sports too..really neat.

Well I guess I'll get off here and try to get something accomplished..I haven't felt like doing much today..maybe it's the weather or something..but I think I have a case of the blah's. I'm not a winter time person..after Christmas I wish it would just get warm again..but I will endure till Spring..say a prayer for me ...love ya'll!!

Today was a very relaxing day...I had to clean my house yesterday because we had a ABM service here..so today I didn't really have much house work to do..YAY!! So I was able to relax a lot but I also got my end of the quarter church books done for Sunday Night's Business Meeting..hooray!! That is very time consuming!! I still need to get all the members tithes receipts for the end of the year together for everyone..but I'm pretty much done with most of it...what a relief?!?!?!

I made pot roast tonight. It turned out very good..I wish I had made some cornbread to go with it though...I thought about it as we were setting down to eat it..oh well..light bread is okay too.

Well thats about it for the day..it is snowing here..but not sure if it will accumulate. We've all got our fingers crossed..

Winter Time

Okay..it seems that now the holidays are over it has started slowing down. I've been so busy,busy, busy that now it seems kinda dull not to have to be doing something constantly...It's nice, but I'm afraid I will begin to get bored soon. We are having a Band Service here at the house tonight...so I'm going to cook some sausage stars tonight...I've never cooked them so I hope they turn out good..we'll see. Haley's Basketball starts Saturday..and that will be a every Saturday event through January and February. Other than that I can't really think of anything. We will be having our District Convention the first weekend in Feb. I think we are going to have it in Winchester so that will not require any traveling. Which I like..I'm not much on getting to far away from home in the winter time...Well thats about it for now..I'll leave you with a picture of the girls in their Christmas Dresses...

I just wanted to get on here and tell everyone a Happy New Years!! We had a Night Watch Service with Bro. Risch as our Guest Speaker. It was very good. We were so glad to have him in our home also. Sis. Risch unfortunately couldn't make it due to some back problems..please keep her in your prayers. We really missed her not being with us!

So yesterday, New Years Day, we went out to eat with Bro. Risch and then he had to get on home back to his wife. So we came home and goofed off for a little while and then we took the Girls over to Donald's moms to spend the night. Before we got to his moms we stopped at the mall because Haley got a hermit crab for Christmas and now Taylor is wanting one. So we stopped by the mall to see if we could find her one..but the little shop was closed...so she was bummed, but she got over it...we told her we would try and get her one soon.

After we left his moms we came home and ate dinner at my parents house. My dad made some good chicken and dumplins!! Then we went down to my aunts for a little while and hung out with them...came home played some wii...and went to bed. Overall it was a good start to the new year..

Christmas Time!!

Wow!! I can't believe it's Christmas Time again. I mean in just like 8 days, it will be Christmas and then it will be over again..and then we go into my worst part of the year. I don't like January and February to much. It's sooo cold, nothing really to do or to look forward to and it's so stinkin dreary outside. I look forward to Spring though. It just seems it takes so long to get here. I wish I could go somewhere were it is warm for a few months. I don't mind it being cold up until Christmas but then I think it needs to just get warm. Haha..okay I've went on and on about nothing..LOL!! Haley's Birthday is in Feb. so thats something to look forward to..I can't believe she is going to be 9 years old..next year she will be a fourth grader!! That just don't seem right!! And then theres Taylor...she will be 4 in April. She'll be starting school before I know it!! Where did my babies go!?! They'll always be my babies though!!! Hello all of my many viewers..haha... It is Tuesday. Not much going on today...after Haley gets home from school I've got to take her and get her Brownie Sash. She has a ceremony on Thursday night and has to have that. I hope I can find the place..not to good with directions.

Not to much has been going on in my life lately..other than I'm not working now. I really enjoy being at home too...I'm sure it won't last but I'm going to enjoy it while it does.

I'm sure there is no one out there still looking at my blog..but thats okay..I will still post today. There has been a lot of things go on since I last posted and I could not possibly tell them all so I will just begin with I Thank the Lord over and over and over again for my Moms healing of cancer. She is doing great!! We all went to Disney world in October to celebrate!! It was so much fun!! After we left Disney World we went to the ocean..that was a lot of fun!! I am currently staying at home now with my kids. I'm not sure how long this will last but I'm going to enjoy every moment I am able to be at home!! I love it!! Hopefully I'll be able to post more now..since I'm at home. I'll try and post some pictures sometime...and I'll blog more later..hopefully...no promises...If there is anyone out there...I'm going to try and do better and I love all my friends out there!!!

Snow Day

Hello everyone that still (if anyone) reads this!!! Today is a Snow Day!! So was yesterday. My daughter did not go to school yesterday or today..and I didn't go to work yesterday and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to make it today. I really need to get there...but I don't like driving on ice...plus I live on a hill that is very difficult to get down and up on icy days. I should just relax and enjoy my time with my family..but I worry about my job and a thing called bills...hahaha.

It's been pretty slow going around here. Haley's birthday was Monday. We got her a cell phone..she seems really happy with it!! She's 8 years old now. My baby is growing up so fast!! My other one, Taylor, will be 3 in April. Time sure does fly!!! They are so wonderful!!!! Well I guess thats about it for now...hope everyone is doing good and staying warm!!!

Wow..it's been awhile

Just thought I'd write something since it's been soooooo long since I last posted. I just haven't really felt like it...but I thought I'd write a little something. A lot has happened in the last couple of months. My mom, as many of you know, has Ovarian Cancer. She is doing pretty good right now. She goes Wed. for her next chemo treatment. When she has these she gets pretty sick afterward. But right now she is feeling really good. My grandpa died the second of December. That was very hard because I was very close to him...I've lived next door to him practically all my life. I miss him a lot...but atleast he is not in any more pain. My girls are doing good. Haley is doing great in school and Taylor is growing and learning so fast!! I wish she would slow down just a little bit..lol...Donald is doing good...his work has slowed down because of the winter so he has had more time with the girls and has been so good to help out with my mom...he's a wonderful husband!! I'm so blessed to have the family that I have!! Let's see we also got a new building to have church in..which is exciting..it's a lot nicer than the one we used to have..it's a little smaller but a lot more updated. I think it was a good move for our little church...Please if anyone still reads this just keep us and our church in your prayers....I just want to stay in the will of God. Love ya'll....and hope everyone is doing good.

This is Brother Donnie posting on behalf od my wife. Her mother, Joy Wilcox, has been in the hospital for a couple of days. She had been sick for a while, and went to the ER on Wed. night. After some tests, etc, it has been diagnosed as Overian Cancer. The doc says it is worrisome, and that this type of cancer is dangerous because it doesn't show many symptoms until it is already advanced.
Please pray for her. She is a precious lady, with a heart just filled love for everyone. I've often heard people complain and make harsh jokes about mother-in-laws, but I always make sure they know that I have the best. I have no complaints, only love and admiration for Joy. Our hearts are broken because she is sick, but we are trusting God for a healing. He is the Almighty God! Please help us pray.

Okay..what has my week been like, let's see..well same ol stuff..work, home...work, home..work, home and church (Wed.)....you get the picture...I did got to Haley's School Friday and help with the Fall Festival there. Thats a big thing at her school..I actually went there when I was a little girl and we did it back then too..now I'm actually helping out...Then the girls went home with their Grammy last night and Donald had to work today..so I'm home alone...I like it sometimes..actually I like it alot for the first part of it..but it gets old fast..I wish I had my girls back now...I think I'm going to see if their ready to come home. It's Saturday and I'm a little on the board side. I mean I have a lot I can do..like clean my house, do my laundry, and much much more..but I just don't feel like doing any of that. Donald is gone to Etown right now..for our Minister's Convention..me and the girls didn't get to go because this morning when we woke up Haley had developed this rash on Thursday and then yesterday, Friday, it had became a little bigger, and when we got up this morning it had spread to several places on her face including over her eye. So I became a little nervous..so I took her to the Doctor to see what they thought it was..because we had no clue..it looks like poison ivy or oak..but it doesn't itch her..so anyways the doctor said it was some kind of rash..DUH...and they put her on a steroid...so that was our morning...now Taylor is taking a nap and Haley is bugging me about getting on the computer. BORED!! Well that is about it for now...later.

Well not a lot going on..but I thought I'd type a little bit on here. This was a picture of my girls on Saturday...they were playing with their cat Max. Didn't he just look like he was having so much fun with my girls..LOL..he always gets held against his will.

Work was horrible on Monday but better today. Sometimes I really like my job, but there are those days when I can't stand it!! Monday was one of those days. I guess any job is like that though.

My papaw is in the hospital..please say a prayer for him if you happened to be reading this..His name is Clarence Wilcox. He had a pacemaker put in last week and now he has a lot of fluid on him. He also has pretty bad kidneys. So please pray for him and my mamaw..she's so tired from taking care of him and worrying..that can be such a strain on your body.

My husbands dad went to the hospital today also. I'm not sure on all the details with what is going on with him right now..Donald has went to the hospital..so theres another prayer request too.

Got to see Mandy last week from Idaho...She is very much with child...I love going out with her right now..because I actually feel like the skinny one now..lol...that don't happen very often. She seems like she is doing good.

Other than that..don't have much to talk about..hope everyone is doing good...bye.

Hello all... How is everyone??? Pretty good here...Well not a lot going on here. Busy with life in general. Haley is doing good in school...she made 100% on her spelling test on Friday. I'm so proud of her. She's doing good in reading and math also. Taylor is STILL not potty trained...I know all you mothers and even those girls that arn't mothers are shaking your head but she's 2..I'm sorry to disappoint you..I still can't make her be potty trained. That is a really big pet peeve of mine...Why do other women feel like they need to judge how other women parent?!?!?!...I mean is that really something that our children are going to remember..."I didn't get potty trained until I was 3 or whatever age it is...I don' t remember when I was potty trained..okay enough about that..LOL...But Taylor does know her colors and can count to I think 11 now. So she's doing g00d in other subjects. As for me..I stay pretty busy being a mom and working full time. There are days when I really like my job, but there are other days when I hate it. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful to have it..it helps pay the bills and buy my babies extra things..but I'd much rather be at home with them...Maybe someday, before their grown, I can stay at home with them again. Donald stays pretty busy with his job too. Church is good. Still no real growth. We have visitors from time to time..but none that stick..we've had some repeated visitors..but again none that will commit. Well thats about it for now..I think. Oh yeah..I've lost a grand TOTAL of 20 pounds!!! Can you believe that?!?!?!?! I can't!! until I look at pictures are put my clothes on I haven't worn in a long time..because they actually fit real good now..some are actually a little big on me now..YEAH!! New wardrobe if I keep losing..yeah...LOL!! Well I'll type more later..C-YA...

Hey everyone...just thought I'd post atleast one blog this month. Not a lot going on really except I started a new job this month..so thats kept me pretty busy..I'm finally starting to feel better about the job. I was so scatter brained at first, but I'm starting to catch on to most parts of it now. I actually like what I'm doing ....I'm a Unit Secretary at a Nursing home..I like it much better than my prior job. But it is still just a job. I would love to see our family be able to get back into the full time ministry at some point..but this is what God has for us now...so I will be content with it. I am so bummed that I'm not at the Assembly right now though!!!!!!! I've almost wanted to cry everytime I think about it. This is the first time in so many years that I don't even know that I haven't been at the Assembly..and I guess technically I will be there..but only for one day..only two sessions because it ends Sat. afternoon. I don't like that at all...I've heard it's because of the church building that we have rented..but I"m bummed that I won't be able to attend on the Sunday this year. But atleast I'll get to see everyone briefly..and I do mean briefly!! So since we're in tenn. we are going to cruise on over Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and stay there until Monday...then it will be back to work for me on tuesday.

The girls are doing good...Haley is liking second grade..but she still keeps wishing it was still Summer vacation...she's growing up so fast..I don't even like to think about how fast my girls are growing up on me. Taylor is wanting to dress herself now...we argue about what she is going to wear..I thought that happened later in childhood not two!!! I dont' remember going through all that with Haley...she's a bit picking now, but at two!!! Taylor is so funny!!! I wish everyone that knew Haley back when she was two could know Taylor now...They are total OPPOSITE...I mean it..nothing a like..and it is so funny and very cool!! I love their little personalities..It's neat to see the differences in the two.. Okay I'm going on and on because I really have nothing else exciting happening in my life...so sorry for the bore... Well I think I've done my good deed for the month and posted..LOL...if anyone is out there give me a comment..I'm sure most people are at the Assembly right now..enjoying theirselves..must be nice..LOL...I've been praying for the Assembly...so I really hope you all are having a good time.!! Not alot going on here today...I went to work...came home and have been hanging out with the girls. Hopefully Donald will be home pretty soon...I'd like to go walking before it gets to dark out. Donald lost another 4 pounds this week..that is a total of 14 pounds in two weeks...I think he is doing great!! I weigh tomorrow morning..I lost 6 pounds last week..but I worry what I've lost this week..I feel bigger..I guess I'll find out tomorrow. haha..

It's been a pretty boring day..and my head is wanting to hurt..so I think I'll get off here for now..Have a Happy 4th of July tomorrow!!! Be Safe...

Saturday was a fun day...we first got up and went to Haley's Softball game... She had two good games...they won both of them. Haley even took a softball in the gut...she didn't even cry...I was so proud of her...way to stop that ball, Haley!!! haha...

Then after that I spent some time with just Donald..which was very nice..we don't get a lot of just alone time..so that was nice..even though it was driving all the way to Stanton, Ky to get the muffler fixed and then finding out we were 15 minutes too late when we got there..ggggrrrrr...oh well it was still nice to be with him...

Then that night we took out girls and their cousin to the beach nearby our house to watch fireworks..it was a lot of fun and the girls really had a good time playing in the sand and water..here are some pictures from it..

Busy Day

Well today I woke up and got my youngin's dressed and me, of course. I sent my youngest of my youngin's with my parents and me and Haley took off to her softball game. She had back to back games today...Thats hard on the kids and really hard on their parents..haha... The first game they didn't do so good...They lost 4 to 18...But let me add this was their first game of the season to lose...they had played 4 other games and won everytime. Anyways..the second game they won 5 to 4...so they did much better the second game...they just needed to get warmed up is all...They are a really good team. I had my doubts at the beginning of the season but they've pulled it together pretty good. After that I took Haley to a Friends Birthday Party and left her there..(Can you believe my baby is old enough to go to a Birthday Party all by herself, were has the time gone**sigh**) I knew the mom really well though..so I wasn't worried. Okay back to the story..after dropping her off I decided since my parents had my youngest I would call my husband up at work and see if he had time for a lunch break...good news...he did!! So we went to Applebees together and had our Weight Watcher meal...it was good but not exactly what I've been used to eating...lol...Oh well.. Came home and give Taylor a bath now I"m getting ready to get Haley in the tub...Got to get 'em cleaned good before Sunday Morning...lol...Thats about it for me...

Hey everyone...I haven't really had a lot to talk about here. I've been just devastated by the loss of Damon. It's still hard to believe. I didn't know him all that well, but it's just hard to believe that he's gone..I guess we really arn't promised tomorrow. Sometimes we take each day for granted..I've really reevaluated myself this week. I've been doing a lot of praying for Sis. Kasey also...I can't even begin to imagine the pain that she is going through..but I'm comforted in the fact that she has a Father who can bare her load and from her posts I've seen I think she is allowing him to do just that.

Anyways...like I said not a lot going on here. Please be in prayer for us...Donald is in search of another job. This one he has takes him away from Church duties and his family way to much. ..so it would be great if he could find something atleast with better hours. Right now he is working between 50 and 60 hours a week. We hardly see him. I would appreciate your prayers...

Okay it's been a few days since I last blogged. Not alot has been going on here. We are going this weekend to Kings Island in Ohio...so excited!! The kids and us are going to have a blast!! I love going to Kings Island..I've been going since I was Taylor's age I guess. So has Haley..This will be Taylor's first time..I'm sure she will not ride much..she seems to be more of a chicken than Haley was..Haley would ride anything you put her on..but now she is beginning to become a chicken..haha..I just can't understand it..I'm a daredevil. Now the only thing that stops me is motion sickness or a migrane. haha...I'm getting old.

Let's see, what's been going on this week...hmmmmm. Well on Monday, Memorial Day, we had a family cook out..that was pretty fun and the food was good. Tuesday I let the girls swim in the pool that we got put up on Memorial day. Wednesday I took Taylor to the doctor..she has a sinus infection...Not today....no real plans, I am cleaning my mom and dads house a little later...other than that..I don't know. I guess the reason I haven't really blogged..nothing new to blog about. I do want everyone to remember us in prayer...We are asking the Lord for direction in our lives about something. We watched Facing the Giants last night for the first time...I know I'm a little slow!! It was a wonderful movie!! I laughed, I cried!! It really does reinforce that God can do the impossible!! We need to just prepare for it! If you haven't watched this movie I suggest you do..It is just a really good movie. I rented it but I want to go and buy it. When my faith is low this would be a great pick me up movie to watch. Anyways I just wanted to put an ad in for this movie...haha..

Thats about it for me..I went to Haley's Softball games yesterday and got sunburned. But other than that it was a pretty boring weekend so far. Church today and Holiday tomorrow.

So how is everyone??? I'm doing good. I just got my tax refund back..and it was better than we thought it was going to be..Praise the Lord!! We're so excited!! Yay!! So now we are trying to decide how best to use it...Anyways I thank the Lord for his goodness!! He always provides!!

I had a good weekend..We had a Yard Sale on Saturday and I made about $150.00 at it...Not to bad...but last year I made a lot more. But I was happy with what I made. Plus I got rid of some junk too. LOL!!! I have enough to have more Yard Sales too, so I think we are going to try again maybe at the first of the month.

Sunday we went to the park and played putt putt and let Haley bat some in the batting cages. It was a nice family day after church.

Twice in one week...that has to be a new record set for me!! I haven't done that in a long time!! So how is everyone?? I'm good here...I cleaned my mom and dad's house this morning and then decided to start getting my Yard Sale things together today..We are planning on a Yard Sale this Saturday..so pray the weather is good and we draw a big crowd that has lots of money...LOL!! No seriously, I hope we do do good, plus I really would like to get rid of some of this stuff..It's just extra baggage we carry around with us when we move. Make room for new baggage..LOL!! A lot of it is baby things...theres a few things that I can't seem to part with just yet, but I'm getting rid of several things. I kept ALL of Haley's things and was able to use most of it with Taylor but those things plus the new things I got for Taylor I've decided to sale..with the exception of about 4 things...expensive things. I'm pretty much sure I don't want anymore kids, but you just never know. So I'm keeping them for now...at least until the next yard sale. I really think I'm finished having kids though...In someways that makes me sad...because it was fun being pregnant...people made over you and you got a lot of attention, but I don't think I want to start over with a baby again...Taylor is on her way to being potty trained (I hope) So I think I'm through. Well enough about that...What do I want for supper tonight???? That is my everyday question. I think tonight I'm going with something VERY simple..since Donald will be out until late...How's Sloppy Joe sound?? Sounds good to me..lol...well I better get off here..I need to come my hair and then go get my Haley Baby from School...Only a week to go..yeah!! Talk to you later...

Just a little humor there. I was looking at some of my pictures last night and I noticed that I have gained some weight...I mean I already knew because my clothes were fitting as good this summer but looking at pictures really tell the truth. I'm a little down about..I've never had to really pay attention to my weight and I've always been able to just eat anything I want to..but things have begun to change. I just turned 30 this past October.....I'm getting middle aged...how depressing. So anyways I dont really have much self control in the food area...What am I going to do?!?!?! I mean I used to go to a gym and LOVED it..but I lived close by the place and it was really easy to get to it...Now I live out in the country and have a hard time getting the time to go to a gym..I need to start walking here on the farm...that might help some. Just the thought of cutting back on chocolate makes me cringe...I love chocolate and my Ale-8 to drink...to of my biggest temptations...well and I pretty much like food in general. Maybe if I start cutting back little by little...I don't know...I need to do something soon because if I don't I'll be buying a whole new wardrobe..my husband might not like that idea..

Hello Everyone!! Well I making my monthly post...haha...just kidding...I am really going to try to start blogging more...Myspace and just taken over my time...shame on myspace. No really, I've went down to just being oncall at my work now..so they will only call me when they need me, allowing me to be with my kids more. Since Donald took this new job at Scwhan's he is barely home anymore..I mean He is home on Sundays and every other weekend he gets a three day weekend..but we just arn't used to that. After he's there for awhile he will begin to have more time off, but until then I'm home with them. I'm very happy that it has worked out that I can be at home more with them... The money is tight, but I feel like it's worth it to be with them right now. If we start needing more money, then I will probably look for work..but the Lord sure does provide for us...I love him so much!! And I also love my Husband who is working so hard to provide for us..He's wonderful...He wants me at home too..I think that is why he works so hard!! I thought this was a good picture of my hubby..it was taken awhile back...He's too cute!! Anyways enough about him...for now...I thought I'd put a picture of him up this time..I usually put one up of the kids or something...lol...Please remember us in your prayers..we are seeking the Lord for his guidance in a area in our lives..we want to be found in his will...well thats about all for now...hope I still have someone out there that reads...oh well..if I don't it still feel good to just get my thoughts out of that little brain of mine..haha...bye.

Yes thats right it is tax time..I know most people have probably already filed their taxes but we are chronic procrastinators. So now were feeling the crunch. I've been getting everything together so that my wonderful Husband can do it...I am hoping he will get them done tomorrow. But time will tell...

I didn't work yesterday or today..I took off for Haley's Spring Break..we went to the planetarium yesterday and to White Hall State Shrine today..that was very interesting. I think the girls enjoyed it..It was really cold here today though..It actually snowed!! We've been having 80 degree weather and then all of a sudden snow....what a shock to the system, ya know?!?!

Donald started this new job at Schwan's. It seems to be a pretty good job but he puts in soooooo many hours that I've not seen him a lot this month...plus him not being around keeps me very busy with our two girls. Hey everyone!! It's Sunday and it has snowed 4 or 5 inches so we haven't had church today...I think I'm starting to get down because it seems like we haven't had a lot of church at all this month..we've had to cancel due to bad weather a lot this month... You don't realize how big of an effect Church has on you until you can't go..I don't know how people go for several weeks without it...I mean the messages are great and I need that but I also miss the fellowship.. Hopefully it will start getting better outside so we can start having church again. Locks of Love

Hello Everyone!! How is everyone??? We're all pretty good here. Let me tell you what me and my little girl, Haley did today. We went and had ALL of our hair chopped off for Locks of Love. We decided a little over a year ago to grow it out and donate it to Locks of Love. I thought this would be something neat that me and her could do together, plus it was neat to know that we would be helping out someone in need. I mean my hair aint all that great but anyone would love to have Haley's hair..it's gorgeous! So today we had had about all we could stand of the long hair so off to Great Clips we went...just a little plug for them..they were great and they cut and style your hair for free and send it off for you. So we still are a little in shock about how short our hair is but I think we are both satisfied with it..here is a few pictures of our day. Well thats it for now..talk to you all later.

It has been a tiresome day today...not much really happened but I had a three day weekend so it was a little harder to get in the swing of things today... Life seems to be slowing down some thankfully!! I"m glad about that. We just had a little weekend revival with the Risch's...It was great and Bro. Risch..preached so good!! This has been a very hard week. I don't feel like I have had anytime to get anything accomplished. I hate feeling like that. Don't get me wrong..I still like my job and I feel it is a blessing, but I still haven't adjusted to working outside of the home for 40 hours a week. I know it will take some time. But it really is a blessing to us right now.

The girls are doing great!! They are at their Grammy's right now, Donald's mom. They were really excited to spend some time with her.

I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner...It's December!! I haven't even started Christmas Shopping..I hate crowds!! I guess I've got to grin and bear it though. Well I think thats all for now.

We are going over to church later because there is a Christmas Parade tonight and our church is going to pass out free coffee and hot chocolate to anyone who wants it. I think that is a very good outreach and it is letting people know who we are and were we are located! Anyways..talk more later.

Hello Everyone!! I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.. We went to my grandma and grandpas for Thanksgiving...it was a lot of fun..and I got to seem most of my family!! But now I'm stuffed and tired. I got to see our newest addition to the family also..her name is Anna...she is my cousin, Heath's, daughter..I think they said she was about 4 months. She's a little doll and sooo happy.

I like my new job so far...I think I'm really going to like it..and the people I work with all seem nice too. Thanks for the prayers everyone.

Boy has this week been stressful!!! Well I quit that job I got...I did not like it..I thought Home Health would be fine but I found out quickly that going into homes and driving all over creation was not for me!!! So anyways...the same day I decided to go and quit that job I went to a interview for a job here in Richmond, where I live. The lady told me that she would call me back one way or the other and let me know, but it would probably take a few days for her to get back with me. Well I drove over to my other job and told them I wanted to quit anyways..and told them I had been to another interview but wasn't sure if I got the job but couldn't handle this one anyways. They didn't want me to quit and put me on a 1 month hold...Anyways to make a long story short...I hadn't been out of the office for very long when my cell phone rung. It was the Lady I had interviewed with telling me I had the job. Praise the Lord!!! I start this Monday and it is a 8 hours a day Mon-Fri job!! Off weekends and Holidays!! I couldn't have asked for a better shift than that..especially in this field of work because anyone that has done CNA work knows that it is around the clock kinda of thing. This is a Medical Adult Day Care. I'm excited about starting, and nervous..but atleast this is a place I will go to everyday and have a routine. I also had my CNA Test last night. I'm a little nervous on how I did..I think I may have left some steps out of one my skills..but not sure, can't remember. I want find out my results for probably close to a month...so please remember me in your prayers. So as you can see I've had a pretty nervous, stressful week..glad it's over... But I just want to thank the Lord for just being with me and helping and answering some prayers!! God is soooooo GOOD!!! Well thats about it for now..I may try to post some pictures of the girls...

Sorry I didn't get a picture posted of my girls...my computer crashed and I mean crashed the other day so we just got it back late last night...we had to have a new hard disk installed..I believe that was the terms..I'm not very good with the computer things...but anyway it wouldn't respond to anything..I couldn't even get it on windows..Anyone out there that knows anything about computers ...what would cause that? First I would like to say THANK YOU MOM AND DAD for my new digital camara..I can now put pictures on my blog again..yeah!! I also want to say THANK YOU to my wonderful family..Donald, Haley, and Taylor for making this birthday the best birthday ever..even if it was my 30th...They got me some neat gifts and my husband got me this beautiful watch...When he proposed to me he gave me a watch in place of a ring..because we don't wear rings...A very beautiful watch..well it broke a few years ago so for my birthday he got me this gorgeous watch...He is such a romantic..he wouldn't want anyone to know that but I'm telling everyone anyways..he's my sweetheart and I love him sooooo much!!! I can't believe I'm 30 today!! I am really having a hard time with this one. I mean I'm no longer in my twenties and never will be again!! How sad!! Why is this so hard for me to grasp!!!!????!!!! Why is this such a big deal to me?? I mean I know all of you older than me are saying your still young just wait till you hit 40 or 50,etc...but I'm still feeling like I'm actually somewhat old now...I remember as a teenager I thought 30 was sooooo old!!! I've even heard a few younger V.L.B.'s slip and say 30 is old...I told Donald last night I have to start acting like an adult now..but I don't know how!! LOL!! I guess your never to old to learn, huh? Anyways on to better things!! I posted on my blog on Saturday but it didn't go through..so I never tried to post it again. I went to Russel Springs on Saturday with some of the ladies from church to attend a Ladies Day that Sis. Cindi Brown was having. It was a lot of fun!! We played games, ate, talked, had a devotion and just had a lot of laughs..oh and shared crafts too. We had a good day. On to some more good news..I just received a phone call a little while ago for my second interview with Home Health. Last Friday I had my first one and I didn't know for sure how well I had done..I had to take two tests while I was there..I felt as though I bombed them but maybe not since they called me back today. I just want to thank everyone that said they were praying for me and those that didn't say but where...Thanks!! Please don't stop now because I need more prayers..my next interview is this coming Friday!! Again Thanks for the Prayers!! I'll keep you updated...well better go..I'm going to Haley's school in a little while for her Halloween Party...so I'll talk more later..

Hey everyone..It's Saturday and I'm getting ready to leave with some of the sisters from church to go to Russel Springs for a Ladies Day. Yesterday was my interview and they said that they were interested and would call my references and probably call me for a second interview..so just keep me in your prayers..if this is the right one for me I would definetely like it..I would be working with a variety of people..so that would be neat. But I want what the Lord wants..so if this isn't surely theres something else down the road..So thanks again for the prayers and please keep saying them for me..thanks!! Last night was Haley's Fall Festival at school. It was alot of fun..I helped in the cash office most of the night, so I didn't really get to run around with Haley but her daddy and grammy, and aunt janna did. They all seemed to have had alot of fun. It was a good turn out. Well that's about it for now..I'll post more later and keep you updated on the job thing. Surely something is going to happen..I'm so impatient...I need to be more patient..haha..bye.

Hello everyone. Just thought I'd type a little bit while I had some time. I'm getting ready to go to Haley's school and help them in a fundraiser during the lunch hour. Tommorrow night is the schools largest fundraiser, it's our Fall Festival. I'll be working in it this year. So I believe my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are going to help Donald with Haley at the Fall Festival. She's so excited. I'm going to leave Taylor with my mom. That poor little school gets sooooo packed that it's hard to breath in it, let a lone trying to keep up with a 1 year old. So I think it is all going to work out..(I hope) Please pray for me, I have an interview tomorrow..I really need a job bad!! Even if this one isn't the best one or the one I would prefer it would be something allowing some money to come in and help pay the bills. So I hope that I am able to get this job..if I don't it looks like I'm going to start looking at the nursing homes. I really don't want to work at one of them, but I will have to do something to get some experience and then maybe a hospital will hirer me eventually, who knows...I'm just rambling..anyways just say a prayer for me tommorrow for this interview..thanks!! Long time, No Post

Okay...I had been wanting to post this whole time but I have been soooooo busy!! Let me explain..I have just finished up a 2 week fast class to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. I haven't been in school for over 10 years..so I didn't know what I was getting myself into..haha...It was Mon-Fri 8-4 everyday...8 hour classes!!! The first week I couldn't believe I had decided to do this..I came home got the kids cleaned up, fed, and ready for bed and then I hit the books. I would study each night for 3 hours a night. I was totally flipping out. (I know some of you college kids are thinking..Nursing Assistant..thats easy) and it probably is for you youngen's But I'm almost 30 and like I said it had been awhile since I had been in class. Well I made it through the first week and scored really good on my tests and then that weekend went to a Hayride in Elizabethtown, Ky. At Leandra and Josh Morris house. They were hosting it but it was for our whole region. We had a blast and if I had a digital I would have took pictures and have posted them on here..but sadly I don't...because mine broke!! But back to the story..We went to church on Sunday and then on Monday I started it back up again...Only this time it wasn't nearly as bad as the former week had been..Thank the Lord!!! We had clinicals on that Wed. and Thurs...which was really interesting..and a tad bit gross..but I guess something that I will have to get used to..LOL!!! Then on Friday we had our finishing tests...and Praise the LORD..I passed the class with a 99%!!! I prayed the whole 2 weeks!! Now I still ain't done completely!! So anyone reading this say a prayer for me..I go in two weeks to take my state boards test...This will Register me in the state of Kentucky!! I hear it is very intimidating and I'm easily intimadated!! So pray!! But that has pretty much been my last two weeks...I spent yesterday putting in applications and I actually have a interview on Friday for a Home Health Nurses Assistant position...So that might be a starter, but I want to eventually end up in a Hospital. I also want to in a year or two..(when Taylor gets a little older) go to school to be a Nurse. This will let me know if I'm really cut out for it to before I pursue it. But anywho..sorry I haven't really been keeping up with everyone..but I've missed everyone!!! Just keep Donald and I in your prayers..we're going through a lot right now...financially and emotionally...we're just wanting to make sure we are in God's will and were he wants us!! I'm not talking about leaving The Church...I feel like this is still The Church and unless God tells me otherwise I ain't going nowhere!! Anyways..I hope I have some lurkers still out there to read my posts..I may have lost all my audience..I think this is the longest I have ever went with out posting..sorry...I'll try to do better..but usually when I say that I do worse...LOL!! Monday Morning

Yes, it is Monday Morning..I've already taken my girly girl, Haley to school and my mom came down to my house this morning and stayed so I didn't have to get my baby girl, Taylor, up. My mom is so wonderful!! She spoils me way toooo much!!! My weekend was okay...I guess it was pretty boring actually. Didn't do a whole lot. Friday night we went out to eat with my dad at CiCi's. Saturday I played Monopoly with Bryan and Amber..we didn't get to finish though because I had to go somewhere and they did too. After that Donald, I and the girls and Donald's mom and sister went to this really cool pumpkin patch. Haley picked out this gigantic pumpkin and a smaller pumpkin and three gourds. She said it was "Bigg Daddy Pumpkin and little momma. She named the gourds, Haley and Taylor and Samson, our dog. haha..and if I had a camara that worked I would take a picture of them. But I don't **pushing lower lip out and pouting** Taylor started running a fever again on Saturday and coughing a lot. She was up all through the night and on Sunday she was still feeling bad so I kept her home from church on Sunday morning, but we had prayer for her before Donald and Haley left and I'm sure they prayed for her at church. She started feeling better Sunday afternoon so I was able to take her last night. She slept all through the night last night too...yeah for her and yeah for mommy!! LOL!! I'm so glad I know a God that can answer my every need and my families needs!!! Well thats about it for now...I'm so excited because school is only a 4 day week this week....That means we can sleep in on Friday...YEAH!! And on top of that they don't have school on Monday either...YIPEEE!!! I think we might go camping this weekend...not sure yet..but thinking very seriously about it in our new camper...it is suppose to be pretty this weekend...we'll see as the weekend gets closer..well talk to you guys later.

Hey everyone..I am posting a new post. Not a lot to talk about though...still no job. I need to just put it in God's hands. He'll see us threw this little battle were going through. It seems it's always easier to say that to someone than to actually believe it yourself or maybe believe isn't the right term...well to actually follow your own advice..it's a lot harder than it sounds..I guess thats what I'm trying to say. Okay I'm just rambling now..I'll stop. Just please remember us in your prayers that we will follow the Lord's leading and direction.

Okay..let's see...Haley got another 100% on her spelling test...so far she's 3 for 3 on them..yeah!!! She is such a smart little thing!!!

My digital camara is broken..boohooo..so I can't put anymore pictures on my blog until I get this one fixed or a new one..I've been hinting to my mom and dad about a new one..my birthday is in 31 more days...maybe...(wishful thinking probably..lol)

Well I guess I'll end this now..not much to say..I've been trying to get someone to play monopoly with me..I've been in the mood for it..I'm not usually in the mood to play a boardgame..but for a week now I've wanted to play..One good game would let me get my feel of it for a while..haha..I might play tomorrow with my cousin, Amber. Hello fellow bloggers!! I haven't posted in awhile...I don't really know why, I guess I just hadn't really felt like blogging. Nothing really new has went on here. Kinda been boring. I do want to say thank you to everyone who said a prayer for my little stinker, Taylor. She is doing much better now. Back to her old self. I hate it when my kids get sick!! Especially my youngest one..because she still doesn't understand exactly how to tell me why she's feeling bad...Haley on the other hand can just have a cough and she is making sure I know about it..LOL!!! Let's see, what else.....Oh..We're getting a camper!!! We're pretty excited about that!!! We're going in halfers with my aunt and uncle on it...We've been wanting one for awhile..I think it will be a lot of fun and the girls will have a blast!! I used to go camping with my mom and dad when I was little...We did it the hard way though..a tent!! LOL...We thought we were camping in style though..of course, my mom, never believed in roughing it so she always brought her little black and white t.v. and a few other things that really don't belong at a campsite..but who cares...it was a blast!! I can't wait to take it out camping!! Let's see is there any new news..I have been so slacking here lately..I haven't been keeping up with anyones blog..but on the upside I have gotten a lot of house work done!! LOL!!! My laundry is actually done completely up!! I'm so excited!! This almost never happens..we go through the clothes here...It's just four people but we sure do go through alot!! Go figure!! If it doesn't rain this weekend we might have a yardsale..not sure about that. Oh yeah..very important, please anyone who thinks about it would you say a prayer that I could find a job..I need a job that is going to pay enough that I can pay a babysitter...so please say a prayer for me that I'll find what the Lord would have me to do. I don't really want to work..I enjoy being at home with my youngen's but right now our income is a little down..so I'd like to be able to get a job to help out..atleast until things change a little in the income way..LOL!! I love to shop..I haven't been able to do that as much here lately..LOL!! Plus, Christmas is coming up..I know if the Lord wants me to have a job that he will lead me to the right one..and that best fits our family schedule..God is an awesome God!!

Please if your reading this say a prayer for my little girl, Taylor. She is not feeling well and has not been able to keep anything in her for a few days now. Everything is coming out as soon as it goes in...and this morning she started running a fever and dry heaving...she is still in good spirits but you can tell she doesn't feel well...Please say a prayer for her anytime you happen to think of us...she doesn't have alot of weight to loose..she needs to get better!! I know God is here on the scene already..Love ya'll...

Hey..I'm getting ready to leave for church here in just a few minutes and thought I'd post before I left. Not a lot going on here..yesterday, Saturday, I pretty much lazied around..I like lazy days...I got up and went Yard Saleing with my Grandma and cousin, Amber..and my kids. We found a few bargains but not to many Yard Sales out. I love to go to Yard Sales.. I came home and started watching this movie. It was a pretty suspensful movie and kinda made me jumpy the rest of the day..LOL!! Then I fed the kids, got their baths and put them to bed..I wasn't far behind them. This week has been exhausting..I didn't know the Assembly could wear someone out so much..It takes a whole week to recooperate..LOL!! Well thats pretty much been my weekend..I know we'll have good services today..My husband's uncle died and we will have to go to the Funeral Home tonight..please pray for his family..It was his mom's brother. Well I'll post more later.

Hello Blogging World!! We finally got back Monday night from the Assembly!! We had a great time seeing old friends, making new friends..I love going to the GA. I also enjoyed several of the messages. After we left Sunday Afternoon from the GA, we went to Gatlinburg, TN and spend the night...It was fun and relaxing. The next day we got up and did a little shopping and played putt-putt with Haley. Taylor just strolled around in the her stroller. We had a lot of fun. Now we're back home and back into the same old grind. But I feel refreshed..I'm ready for Fall, I think. NOT WINTER though..I don't like the cold whether. Well I guess thats it for now. I'll post more later.

Hey everybody..not much to post here..not a lot going on. I'm just abiding my time until we can leave for the assembly!! I think me and the kids are going to be leaving to go down on Tuesday with my parents unless something changes. Donald, unfortately, will not be able to come down until Friday night sometime. He has to work and could not get off. I quit my job at Goody's. The schedule just wasn't working out for me. Being gone of the evenings is not good when you have kids in school. I would barely see my Daughter, Haley. It was getting to where when she got home I was having to leave. I just didn't like it one bit. Plus I hardly seen Donald too. We decided even thought the extra money was good that I would quit and maybe look for a job that I could work during the daytime or even get a baby or child to babysit here at the house. I don't know. I would love to get a job in the school. That would be great. Theres actually a position coming open that I might have a chance at..maybe a small chance, but a chance...Please say a prayer for me that I might get an opportunity at this job IF it's the Lord's will!!!! It would be a neat job and a nice opportunity to get more familiar with the families around this area, but God knows what I and my family need..so please keep me in your prayers concering this...Well thats about it for now...Maybe I won't be so boring next time...haha...bye.

Hello Everyone...I just wanted to share some pictures from yesterday morning service. My husband did a baby dedication. I know most people say so what, it's just a baby dedication. But he takes it above and beyond and makes it really special for the parents and the family. He loves children and he has always enjoyed being able to have the honor of dedicating a baby. I just thought I'd share these pictures of the young couple and their baby being dedicated. The young lady just recently got saved and has been attending every service and is growing in the Lord everyday..

I've been married to my husband, Donald, for ALMOST 10 years...I can't hardly believe it!! I know I don't tell people or say it enough, but He is wonderful!! I think he is the best daddy and husband ever!! He is so sweet and understanding. I feel very blessed to have him. I'm not one to normaly express my feelings to other people, except my husband. But I just felt like saying how special he is to me tonight. I don't know I think I've changed in so many ways this year..Hopefully for the better...I have become a lot more open to others and let more people in my little world than I used to...atleast that is the way it feels to me. Anyways..I just wanted to share how wonderful I think My Husband, Donald Ray, is to me!! He's a good husband and provider for me..and I love him!! (Donald if your reading this don't forget about that BIG Christmas gift I've been wanting..haha..Just kidding!!!

Okay..I wanted to post some pictures of Taylor because I had put all of those pictures of Haley on there of her first day of school. Taylor is VERY HARD to take pictures of...I'm not sure why she refuses to look at the camara most of the time...but here are a couple shots of her...The first one is of her making her escape from something she probably did or maybe she was running from the camara..who knows?!?!?! The second one is my favorite...I got it tonight before church started..She was eating those little corn puffs..and she has a cold so some snot(sorry) was running down her nose and the little corn puff got stuck in it..hehehe!! You gotta love em!!! Note: I did take it from her before she ate it. LOL!! Thats about all I have recent of her...she hates the camara..I'm surprised she let me take the last one of her...I've got to catch her off guard to do it though...Post more later...

Hey everyone!! I just dropped my baby off at school for her first day of 1st Grade!! My BABY is growing up soooooooo fast!!!! She seemed excited but maybe a little nervous too. I love to make things like this...I love coming up with an idea and then getting creative... This is my last one I did..which I didn't think was as good as the spring one..but oh well..you win some you lose some..lol...Anyways..if anyone has any ideas for a fall one, let me know..I love to take people ideas and then put a little of my own in it..that way it's not exactly like anyone elses.. Hey Everyone...I finally decided to post a little...not really anything new. Today I did some laundry, went shopping with my mom, came home, did some more laundry, picked some corn, went up to my grandmas, ate supper, goofed off with my family, went shopping with my Aunt Terrie and Amber and now I'm home again. Thats pretty much been my day.

This past week it has been SOOOOO HOT that I've barely wanted to even come out of the house!! It's soooooo miserable!!!!!

Haley starts back to school in a week and a half..she'll be in first grade..my baby is growing up WAY TO FAST!!! She's soooo sweet and thoughtful...I love her...I love my other sweety tooo..Taylor...she's just a barrel of laughs!! You should see her do Father Abraham..How funny!! I wish I knew how to do that video thing that I think it is Erica's Blog has on it...I'm sure you have to have a special camara to do it...I would tape her doing Father Abraham..we laugh so hard when she's doing it...

Well I guess thats really all for now..sorry I'm so boring lately...but I kinda like it like that for now..I've had way to much drama in my life this past year...LOL!!

Okay..I think everyone knows that I'm pretty computer STUPID...so I've been trying to figure out how to get my Flickr pictures to be on my blog for the past few days...I think I've finally figured it out..I THINK...you all will have to let me know if you made it to the photos..because even though it appears I did..I can made wierd things happen..haha...

So these are my Youth Camp Pictures..we crammed as much as we could into about a 2 day pd. It was hard but we had a lot of fun!!! I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I wanted to, but I would forget about it at times and then remember at other times..haha..

So how is everyone..I'm good here..finally getting caught up on missed sleep!! The first night we stayed up until 4:30 their time...5:30 A.m my time and then got up at 7:30 their time that morning...that pretty much did me in after that...I NEED SLEEP!!! LOL!!!

Anyways I hope you all enjoy the pictures..if you can get to them..LOL...
